Thanks for the comments and ratings everyone!...The tick (legs, body, hairs and all)was modeled in Hamapatch, which can be downloaded and is free also...Xported as an OBJ., imported into Anim8or for some tweaks, then into UVMapper so I could make an alpha channel for the Bryce textures, (see how the areas around the joints are smooth, but the larger areas of the leg segments are textured) Yes, the image is inverted and colourized,blurred ect in post, but the textures and lighting conditions in Bryce have to be correct for this to work correctly, I will endeavor to compose a tutorial on this soon, or you could email me for a readme with some specs on how to do it....Thanx again!...:)
