My first experience with Photoshop starting from a pencil drawing. It was really funny doing this. :-)

Hopalong
Interesting play: the "eyes" taken horizontally (in full face and profle), and in their usual context, are very expressive. Along the vertical axis, on the other hand, the effect is strictly "symbolic." The ankh, too, marks a hidden homunculus, with two eyes up and down but definitely one-eyed and cyclopean head. Delightful little crossword!
