Description

I'm reviewing for finals and what do I do? I turn on the PC and go to Rosity. After looking at some gallery images I just had to render one. I'm weak I know! Like a smoker trying to quit I fell! So here it is, it's not much but it satisfied my lust to render. hehehe. It's just a couple of terrains. More of a postwork study than anything really. Plants and trees all postworked in Photoshop. Unfortunately I only have a mouse but I'm trying to save money for a tablet. I'll be back next week when summer school is out, yay!!! Until then I gotta go back to my books and study =(. Thanks.

Yes Bryce is very addictive LOL. Alvin, you have done a wonderful job with this. The terrain is great with excellent texturing. Love the postwork in which I think is very well executed. The only thing that I would look at is to maybe make the path wider to make it stand out a little more. After all the title is the "Path" which sugests it is the focus of the image. However, that most certainly does not take anything away from the brilliant job you have done. Awesome work Alvin. ---- Scott.

Gorgeous work. Your postwork is excellent. Better than if you had used 3d models for the foliage. Very, very nice.

Wonderful! Ground and mats are excellent and so the p/work you made. You don't need to set up a complex scene to make a beauty like this. Congrats, and hope to see you back soon - Carlo

I couldn't agree more with Carlo, Alvin. Complexity is not necessary to make a beautiful image, and this one is the proof of that. THumbs way up for the delicate, unobtrusive postwork that breathed life into the already excellent terrainwork.

THere is nothing better than being able to take a tablet and draw the trees and grass EXACTLY where you want it! I like the spiritual overtones to this as well. Keep on painting;-)
