I had to go deep into my mind before the whine of the ship would dim. Finally I got myself to that quiet place. Okay, I've not commented on the previous enterings because I've found the piece when there were already a few parts... I started reading, and couldn't stop... Really... I couldn't stop even to tell you how much your story is involving... NOw it's finished, and all I can do is thanking you for sharing... English is not my language, nor this story is the kind I usually read... (I don't like much science fiction in general) But, hey! you're making me wanting to read more! It's really difficult to explain how much I enjoyed the reading... Again: thank you for sharing!

Thanks jgeorge. I'm not much of a pure sci-fi person myself. I like "cross over" stuff like the work of China Mieville (Perdido Street Station, King Rat, The Scar)and writers of the Latin "Magic realism" genre. Try some of the short stories of Lucius Shepard, "The Jaguar Hunter" is a good collection. I like the realm of possibilities that sci-fi offers but don't have much interest in works that lack deep characters and thought provoking interaction. Often I find that sci-fi uses predictable archetypes (hero, villian, quasi John Wayne etc) rather than individuals who change and grow, and sometimes technology rules the story, much to its own detriment. For me a story has to flow from the core values and feelings of its characters. If it doesn't, the best plot in the world won't hold these eyes to the pages. Blessings, Sealynx
