Description
I recently went to Renfest and was inspired to make this image after seeing a Flemish Lady of "old".
This portrait is based in the clothing style that the ladies of Flanders wore around the 15th century.
Interesting historial note:
Before 1795, Flanders was only a county composed of what is now the Belgian provinces of East-Flanders, West-Flanders,
parts of the Ducth province of Zeeland and of the French departement Nord.
For an inhabitant of Paris at This time, a "Flemish" was someone who did have the King of France as feudal
Lord and was living North of the Somme.
I know the sword is not historically accurate, but I thought it was pretty anyway. :P
Thanks for viewing!
