Description
I found an old XenoDream fractal that I'd left unrendered, so I fixed it up and made this thing. A homage to the game with the same name that held a sort of pointless charm.
Spikey UFO's in XD.
Background and texture in UF3.
Postproduction and layout in Photoshop 7.
Are the ships at the top closer or are they just larger? hmmm...

Excellent! I like the 'soft' feel of this image, particularly that the XD and UF elements fit together seemlessly, i.e. that it doesn't look like a XD element has been 'imposed' onto a UF background. The soft pink glow around the edges of the invaders helps achieve that; but then you know that already, don't you! :-)
