a key to the heart and i do believe this is the magic sense of Art!! an enigma wrapped in an enigma wrapped in an enigma wrapped in an enigma ... all adding up to another profound, mysterious, and enthralling birth of Mikkoart!! Brilliant!!!

I think Tania has it about right! I'm getting a whole multiplicity of messages from this one, I really admire the way you squeeze so much expression into one face!

Her face reminds me of artist bam-b style. Nice one!

there are so many things that are so right about this image its incredible. technique is truely inspiring. You made the whole image come together so nicely, from the drawing to the addition of just the right amount of brush work to the all over tone. this piece has me staring.

The manner in which you have done her eyes is compelling. They are at the same time arresting and full of sorrow. You truly have a gift beyond talent and it is a pleasure to see.

It's brilliant Lumo! It's got such style. It reminds me of Tim Burton's "James and the Giant Peach" although yours is totally original. Excellent drawing sir! You make me want to draw again.

The breast feeding almost seems mandatory. The mother obligated to feed the child, but somewhat unwilling. The dark soul has to remove some of her darkness to show sense of humanity... that's what it tells me. I especially like the fact that for once the mother is not looking at her baby while breast feeding, it's also what makes it seem mandatory. The petite neck, the eyes that are very wide, and the soft technique still makes this image look cold.

I can't tell you how many aspects of this image I find spot on. Your use of warm yellowish greys, the featureless backdrop, the diffused feel, her detached expression...
Something about your work is haunting, utterly haunting, you're one of the few here whose work penetrates to the centres of the subconscious, making one somehow understand without knowing how or why.
I'll reiterate that I think predominantly sonically with your work: this one however makes me think of almost total silence. Only an almost inaudible suckling can be heard.

What can I say after Jeff and Jim that is not already said? All these feelings that this evokes...
