Description
On the opposite side of Mars from the Tharsis Rise -- and still in the northern hemisphere -- you find the huge Elysium volcanic field. We are looking past Hecates Tholus -- the northern most volcano -- to Elysium Mons.

I like the sky very much. Sometimes, the martian atmosphere is free of dust and as a result, it is not always redish bright as always depicted. Nirgal site, in france, said that based on viking, pathfinder and MGS, many colors have been seen: pink, redish, salmon, greenish, purple or blueish !
