Description
I was going to paint a pic of Ranma or Akane, but then I upgraded my photoshop version so I decided to practice with the special brushes first. I started this as a little sketchy piece, and it slowly got more detailed. This is Ifurita from the show "El Hazard". She's a wind up doll that destroys everything. ;) No background, nothing special, just a doodle that took a long time.
Comments welcome, as usual.
Thanks for peeking!

Oh, and that weird thing she's holding is her funky staff she carries around.

You've done Ifurita justice ^_^ You don't get to see too much El Hazard art anymore which is a shame. Excellent work!

Um... Wow. I always get to comment on how nice your use of color is (the hair in this one is really marvelously subdued with vivid highlights), but the linework in general and development of curvature in the leg muscles is really, realy nice on this one. Sense of depth at t glance. Did you have any models or references for this ir is it purely from the mind's eye? Looking for something to improve, the lines on the lower end of the staff seem a little ragged, Her leftpinky is way thinner than her right (both ar visible), and maybe (only maybe) her neck might be more in shadow from the hair. I'm reaching, but I at least try ;). Stellar ^_^! Do you take requests or commisions?
