BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

I just love this morning! Three(!) of my favs making me company in the gallery, surrounding my posting! :) LOL
Protection and warmth in this one, beautiful mats on the creatures and the fiery sunlight on the right is a wonderful touch.

Others have said what I would like to say. The immediate thing that clicked my mind as I saw this was Penguins. Am I right folks?? I was going through the gallary last nite along with a nephew of mine. I showed him your work and he is no graphist or anything and his only remark was..... everything is fine but how the hell do they make the objects hang in the middle of the canvas?? He says, I can feel the 3d inner depth as i view the image and would like to see it full canvas size, must be like WOW!!
