Description
I only ever seem to post WIP. I think it's probably because each time I do something, I learn how I would do it better, and move on to a project where I haven't yet made those mistakes.
All of the content here is original, which explains the current lack of detail on the sword head, the slight bit of 'shine-through' by the mouth and glaring lack of ears etc. The only thing I would be tempted to bring in pre-built would be a horse, but I lack poser, and I havent found any particularly good ones on the internet. Worst comes to worst I'll build myself a horse too - I've found that even looking at most of the things available that it's possible to do it yourself for a much better polycount and to a level of detail that better suits your scene.
For the rest of the scene, picture perhaps a warhorse with the paladin's cloak draped over it's hindquaters, and a massive castle gate taking up most of the background. That's what's currently going through my mind anyway.

technical details: 3 point lighting /w soft shadows (no point in radiosity at the moment), almost entirely hypernurbs. Bhodinut DANEL for the armour, 840 handdrawn polys (I dont subdivide cubes) not counting mirror objects and subdivision.
