Description

...by suggestion of "nish" I've re-rendered the scene "Desert Impression" (also posted today), with a slight DOF of 3%. I'm somewhat reluctant to use the DOF, since it frequently produces a "puppet show" apperance, much like the close-up photos of a model railway e.g.- It just maybe right this time - personally I think it's OK, but you be the judge. The Vue DOF has been "doctored" in Photoshop as described in my demo "Improving the Vue DOF" (found in my gallery - basically it's using the "Despeckle" filter and the history brush). Thanks for looking - comments more than welcome.

I don't know about others, but I think this is great. The camera angle and the implied DOF gave the picture a certain edge, which makes it an excellent composition. But that's just what I think! :-)
