Description
Well I am finally getting a wacom which arrives sometime this week WOO HOO anyway I wanted to take one last ditch at tryin to do this with a mouseof course not the best thing ... but hey I tried lol. I tried to paint mill preschooler... shes cute so i thought what the hey... might as well try... well this is what came out of it. THanks to Jen Elfy Stacy and others for encouraging me... *checks the mail nope not here yet lol*

You will absolutely adore your wacom! It will take about 3 days to get used to but once you get the hang of it, youl will never go back hehe. Doing what you were trying with the mouse is impossible so you did a great job! I really like the image. It really captures something about the little girl!

Hair is hard to paint. The texture of the actual hair looks ok (to me), but the edges need a bit of work. The tablet should make life easier - look forward to what you get woth that :)

Try to look at colours of the lights and their direction, then add those colours to the hair. also, look at where the shade is in the picture and add it in the same places in the hair. it will make your hair tie in with the rest of the image better ;) good luck!

very brave try,crasher has a tutorial here at renderosity and so does beachadonas between the 2 tutorials i was doing pretty good hair with a mouse..but yes the wacom is a great improvement.

I am finally using my wacom sis.. I haven't seen my pen in 2 years.. was moving things around and it was in the box..where I put it.. Anyway it's like riding a bike.. LOL You're doing pretty good with the hair..hon keep it up..
