did this a week ago, but i kept forgeting to post it:) this is a character based on Amsterdam Vallon from the movie "gangs of new york", i spent alot of time on this, but im not completely satisified w/ the final image. im starting other stuff now so im posting it as-is.

textures from mayang & animax. the shirt textures were made in photoshop. everything else bryce.

Well done and great implementation of that movies character. Looks just like the cave where Leonardo hid that razor as a kid.

The lighting effect is good plus the blurring in some parts to make it obscure is a good touch of realism.just need to liven up on the expressions though.

Wow. Very nice composition and the lighting is perfect. The characters look very real. I do, though, have to agree with Ice; the faces could use a bit more expression. But really, fantastic work!
