soft treating of a subject that is not soft in itself. The orange background works surprisingly well here.

You know, when I got this back from the lab last week, I considered it a "mistake." I'd intended a sharper shot with deeper depth of field. But the more I looked at it over several days, the more appealing it became. I don't know why, really. I just decided it was kind of cool just as it is. :)

I am a bit like this F&J...the more You look at Me...over several Day's...trapped in a Mine Shaft with Me....the more appealing I look ...on the eighth Day sigh...You have a lovely Stalk :)

I also agree, very appealing. Love the contrast between the green of the plant and the orange background. Ya gotta love mistakes like this!

Ah, man, this is great. The green is beautiful, as is the blurred background. What kind of a lens did you use to get is so blurred. The macro on my digital camera can't do that.
