Description
Nearly full grown Osprey chick, sitting on the nest at the Loch of the Lowes nature reserve near Dunkeld in Scotland.
Range is a bit extreme on this one, taken across the full width of the loch, and the hide was packed with people so a bit of shake as well.
Canon 10D / EF 100-400mm f4.5/5.6L USM IS @ 400mm + (cheap) 2x Extender (= 1280mm equivalent)
ISO200 - 1/180sec - f/5.6
