Description
They were difficult times, cold and harsh. It took a strong and brave people to survive and thrive. It was a hard life, but it was the way of the Viking.

The terrain looks just like frozen mud...very realistic look. He looks cold and angry...very Viking!! Cool one, Paul.

Good work! You've even succeeded in catching that suspicious, untrustworthy look in his face that characterized most vikings. Unfortunately, those characteristics still survive today, but more subtly. Good work on the rocky shore (frozen mud?). Scandinavia was quite warm during viking times- it was easier living then than later. But pillage was what brought them out. If they couldn't trade, they killed and robbed.
