Description
After taking into consideration the comments made by those who viewed my previous post of this image I shrunk the lighthouse and put it atop the cliffs.
I also removed the light because I have been told that my previous effort did not portray how the light would look in reality, by someone who used to live near a lighthouse.
So after all my reworking I hope folks like what I've done with the image.

Gorgeous sky and atmosphere, Catlin. I liked a lot the other version too: IMO, reality (realism) must not be an obstacle to creativity. So, please post what you feel and what you like, and if it's not real, who cares. __ This doesn't make this second version less than excellent, tho.

Wow, this is so beautiful. Excellent work. And just as DC said, realism isn't a must, just an option. I love the colors! If you want to try one more thing with the pict, and this doesnt even invovle a rework... crop off the bottom of the picture so that just a wee little top bit of your barrier wall is showing. Right now it may (or may not) be a bit heavy for the overall composition. Fantastic work.

This is lovely, and I think the lighthouse looks perfect! I also love the cliffs on the right side too, and of course the sky is absolutely fantastic!

I like them both, the play of light on the beach and the water is beautifull, and a well chosen colour palette. Excellent in my book.
