Description

Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine, and acts upon them, may be compared to a wise man, who built his house upon the rock. And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds burst against that house; and YET, it did not fall.....for it had been founded upon the Rock. Although the rock looks like a magnified stone there is a marvelous poetry in the scenery which I like very very much. A wonderful image!

This generates a very definite sense of calm in spite of the storm. A well balanced composition in which the matting and framing play a crucial, albeit seemingly simple, role. Well done.
