A fellow book lover! :) Looking good, only crit I have is the very straight lines where the spines meet the front covers. Try a little beveling there and also see if you can't get the textures to blend more smoothly in that area.

I agree with cartesius... thats a very sharp spine for a very old book. Also, the size of the wooden boards upon which these ancient tomes rest are either very small (1 inch wide or so) or these are some gigantic books.

Centre of image is the floor which is not so important. Place the books in a better position! But I agree, very nice old really real ;) book.
