Description

This image was created as part of an animation to illustrate a very complex scientific principle. I'm using the parabolic well so symbolise a laser gradient, and the green glass ball represent a microscopic particle. Microscopic forces interact between the ball and laser, essentially allowing the ball to roll up the well at random times, which seems counter-intuitive. It's my first real attempt at art (I am a scientist) so please be gentle. :) DMC
