Description
This is kinda a tribute to my best friend. She was an exchange student from Germany, and she recently had to go back. I feel I did pretty well, with the exception of the face. She is absolutely adorable in real life, but, in my drawing, i feel i have lost her beauty. I feel terrible, because she really means alot to me, but, im too afraid to go back and redo the face, because i am terrible at faces, and that (sadly) is the best i am capable of.

Hey, nice work! Concerning the face - I think it's just the eyes and perhaps the nose to be corrected. But anyhow - faces are terribly hard... I always fiddle around a long time until I'm partly satisfied... Anyway - I like the drawing!

The work you did on the body and clothing is very impressive, why not practice faces? Obviously you already know that's a weak point for you, so there's nothing to do but improve it! It's still a very nice piece, congratulations! Assignment for the day: draw some faces. Hee hee hee...hmmm, wait, maybe I should do that assignment...instead of bossing people around. :)
