Description
The ship lands at the Galaxite wet-pad. It's anti-Net rockets whistling through cracks in the aluminum-titanium alloy floors of the base.
How poetic. Now for something even more poetic.
Space ships space ships flying through the air.
What are you doing, way up there?
If you ever get lost, just beware,
to keep an extra pair of underware.
I think I deserve to get in one of those poetry books. One day my chance will come!
Modeled and rendered in Bryce.
Textures and post in Photopaint.
Hope you find it interesting.
(the rain is just a little thing I painted up later, and was not rendered with the image)

Really cool looking spaceship - don't know why, but it reminds me of the transporters featured in Alien 2. Great job!!! :)

This model has a "Bladerunner" Cid Mead quality with a little of the "Alien 2" dropship built in. Love the detailed blaster impacts on the plates.

You seem to create some of the moodiest science fiction around. I like the dark atmosphere and personality of this one. Very cinematic as usual!

Fantastic image, I'm definitely checking out that wireframe. Dunno why everyone's calling Aliens "Alien 2", though...
