BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

These look like the strangest pair of stilletto heeled shoes I've ever seen. Beautiful sky and textures, but I wouldn't expect anything else from you. 8)

Hi..another great work...this one seems a little bit different from the others, cant place it...or why... anyway, also, i just want to ask...maybe its giving away your secret, but when you create the work...which is first...the title, or the model? Just always wondered, and were afraid to ask! ;)

There's a lot of tension in the "pose" of the creatures, the overall effect is fascinating.

stilletto heeled shoes for sure catlin. It's beautiful. iceblade, i guess one reason why you feel it's diff from others could be the fact that this one is on the ground, most of their work just hang in the air and there isn't reflection on them. am i right??

Believe it or not, I didn't see shoes. I saw two very elegant hounds looking over their shoulders. Good art can be interpreted in several different ways.
