Description

These are the last of the lotus flowers (in color) for this year. Tomorrow I'll post the B&W versions of these two. ...and maybe there will be some dried seed pods in the future. Thank you all for the nice comments on this series. I like plants, and the sensual way light interacts with organic surfaces. And I generally don't need to worry about the 'nudity' button, or getting a model release. No, I'm not a professional; would people PAY for this? My $45/year to the Chicago Botanical Gardens has always been money well spent.

Oh Misha....the color here is so wonderful.... I've never been fortunate to see lotus flowers in real life, up close and personal....such beauty!

Wow - I don't think I've ever seen a lotus close-up before - this is great! What a strange center it has. Like someone's fantasy, and not a real flower. :-)

Are you kidding? Of course people would pay for this, I've seen millions of flower shots not even comparable to this one. Amazing flower and a flawless shot.

Hi Misha, it doesnt get any better. Go to a publisher or a good agent and get your pictures published. Photo-lovers all over the world will be glad to buy a book with photos like this. I definately would.
