I know it needs improvement... but after 2 days of playing with the program... I think its pretty ok!...

Great beginning. I like it and you even tried the treelab not spheres. You should have seen my first. Oh lordy it was aweful! LOL welcome to Bryce gallery. -SeaC-

You're right: after two days, it's pretty cool! You went right to the treelab, and this shows creativity. I can't wait to see your others. Some time ago there was a thread in the Forum where we all showed our first bryces ... awful! :) ___ As for improvements on this image, the ambience is too high, thus making the shadows a bit flat and unreal. But I'm sure you'll figure that out in a blink. :)

Welcome to the Bryce gallery! :-) I remember when I first posted my first Bryce, "Sample Horizon," I received welcoming comments. There was also a suggestion of getting a book by Susan Kitches' "Real World Bryce 4." There isn't an adequate Bryce 5 book out there besides Kitchens' "Real World Bryce 4." I like the big tree trunk, despite the unrealism.
