Description
The nebula part of the space background is the Crab nebula. Thank you to the ESO (European Southern Observatory) for their permission to use their beautiful photo in my image. They have gorgeous space photos on their site here: http://www.eso.org/outreach/gallery/astro/

Very nice image! I really like the planet with the subtly glowing atmosphere near the sun. The ship design is crisp with nice details. the engine glows really add life to the ship. Keep up the good work! :-)

Great stuff Sue! Those other gas clouds are looking funky too! You know what, a little bit of motion blur would look nice here too as though the craft was flying past the camera.
