Description

CREATIVITY'S PROXIMITY by DON STREETER A raindrop alights Upon my lidless mind. Cascading into a waterfall Of colorful ideas. Creating pool less spectrums That brim and blind. Spilling over once filled, Now a churning river does flow Unto a lifeless hand On an ocean of white, Does this idea Breathlessly grow.

The problem with the surreal is the psychological component and use of symbols to infer an idea, if its too clear it fades into mere free verse. This is an excellent poem about conquering writers block...I fail with the surreal in this respect as well.
