Description

--Parched indeed, but I have pain enough to cry it river anew and have this land flourish again.-- Hurray for new photoshop techniques. This one is a product of my discovery of mud cracks fractials. =D kind of lame, but I'm hoping for a stylish execution. Hope you all enjoy it, cuz it took forever to make. Over 85 terrains, plus 1 cube for the distant cracks. This picture has upwards of 2.2 million polygons. =/ Hope you enjoyed. If you see something I can work on, drop me some comments. If you dig it, vote it! Thanx for viewing, Globator

Aye, it's awesome terrain work! Methinks you could have used just one terrain, at global res, for the cracked part, but it's still a great picture, my friend... I love the haze, it's perfect!

Great effect. I bet you had a lot of fun watching Bryce take forever to load the scene!

Bloody hell! That's a lot of effort! Well worth it, though. Now, how about a nice panoramic view...

Great job! I really like the soft colors and POV. The haze gives it a very nice touch, too. :)

Really convincing, even the detail on the rocks seems to belong in a desert.
