Description

The Zintraephic Cubians of Arbemor V are a peaceful lot, and darned decent dinner company besides. Originally a race of small, furry creatures bearing a striking resemblance to yellow koala bears, eons of genetic and cybernetic tinkering have turned them into the superintelligent giant cube-shapes you see here. They now roam the universe, seeking to share their wondrous and environmentally harmless technologies with all sentient life they find. 3 hours ago a collective of Cubians sent this image back to their homeworld, depicting their entry into the upper atmosphere of Shaxmos III. Hearing primitive radio transmissions, they joyfully turned themselves a delightful shade of orange, the universally recognized color of peace. Unfortunately, the hardworking and highly industrious Moheni of Shaxmos III are also highly superstitious. In their culture, a cube with a great big spherical chunk missing from the middle is seen as a bad omen. The Zintraephic Cubians were all blown from the sky by roaring Moheni fighter jets. Oh well. Rendered in Bryce5. Postwork in Photoshop.
