I like this image! One suggestion: you can see where the terrain ends under the water. What I do to alleviate that is to create one very large terrain (or plane) and texture it to match the terrain you have. Make sure, if you use a terrain, that the height is minimal, and that the whole thing is under the water. Just my 2 cents :)

love the pastels .....I have nothing to add in the way of suggestions. You are obviously entering into some newer territory with your work. I like your experimentations in this area though.
