The Story - "While in the outer reaches of explored space, the U.S.S. Stargazer was taken by surprise and attacked by an unknown alien force. The Stargazer was badly damaged. Port nacelle damaged, torpedo launchers offline, phasers at one-half power, shields are at the brink of collapsing, and the aliens did not let up on their attack. The crew noticed something about the enemies torpedo launchers. They launch their photon torpedoes at regular intervals. Possibly due to a recharge and reload rate. The Stargazer concentrated its forward sheilds and came about, heading towards the alien ship. With split second timing, the Stargazer used its phasers to detonate the alien torpedo while it was still within its shield grid. The explosion caused a chain reaction that completely destroyed the alien ship. While making repairs, the captain has to make a difficult decision. To return to safe harbour in Federation territory, or to move on, and risk a shooting war while only being 13 years since the Dominion war ended. The captain has made a very difficult decision, but the only one that could possibly be made. They move on." The picture - I decided to make the shields on the Stargazer look like the shields from both Star Trek Nemesis and Star Trek 6. This is due to the fact that with the bubble like shields on the other 24th century Star Trek's, how could the ships be damaged while the shields were still intact? With the shields on Nemesis and ST 6, at least there was a good reason on how the ships could be damaged.
