Description
Hidden far beyond his facial hair and deep into his skull,
was the remains of this battered soul.
I had to stop and look.
For hours upon hours I stared, out of movement, I just sat and stared.
Once I reached out to touch the soul.
I wanted to know what it felt like.
It captured me completely and I could not move.
My hand was warmed, despite the cold that surrounded us, and I felt peace.
A peace I've never known.
I learn from the inside of this old man and I could feel myself age.
My heart slowed and my mind cleared,
until I found tightly gripped in his trembling hands,
the call he was on hold from.

Do you not talk to all the souls that are on hold with you? Way up there in the great ozone of life? Have met some really interesting people that way! Life feels like being on hold alot anymore.
