Okay so it's an ape thing. I'm not into apes... but wow, your waves are awesome as well as the coloring for the sky. Nice sand texture as well as the texture/coloring for the shrubbery. You are getting better at merging the sand/water line.Excellent job!

Pretty impressive image, the sand looks really great as does the whole image. Just one thing, I magnified the figure on the sand and you haven't quite got the likeness right, lol. Dave

I love those stark shadows of the morning! Every time I see a sci-fi scene rendered in Vue, I keep telling myself I gotta' get that program! And the subject matter? The ultimate "Twilight Zone" segment. Think about it, the original French novel was adapted by Rod Serling and had most of the "earmarks" associated with some of the classic episodes. Of course, that's a good thing! Though you think Taylor (Heston) should have grown suspicous when he apes spoke English! ;-) Sincerely, Bill

This is awesome! Exactly like the movie. Excellent work.
Flycatcher
Instantly recognisable scene even from the thumbnail. Very well done. Apart from the accuracy of the scene (to my distant meory at least), those waves are very good, and the sand is among the best I've seen.

LOL!! I love it! The old movie is so much better than the new one. Now you need to make the scene where the apes hose him down, so he can utter my favorite line: "THIS IS A MAD HOUSEA MADDD HOUSE!!!!"

Is this still Oregon? Excellent image wherever it is. The waves are superb.
Panic912
Excellent composition! Well done!
czarnyrobert
Very impressive composition - exactly as from "Plannet of Apes" - I would only consider to use additional lights instead of ambient to improve shadows
