Description
God I redid this so many times *lol* Placing the alpha planes on an uneven surface is a pain. Over 900 objects, 7million polygons, mainly alpha planes for the background trees. I just thought I'd try a different mood and atmosphere. The streaks you can see in the sky is in fact rain, but I think I put too much motion blur on it.
Thanks for viewing

Very pretty image, Joey. I think the blur you used is fine, makes it look like a light misty rain which adds to the image in my opinion. (You know how freely I share my opinions :P) I love the feel to this, reminds me of the UK.. the light rain, the over cast sky. Awesome work, hon!

beautiful, and it was worth the work involved. :)

Nice work Joe!!!!

Very nice, Joe; the distant trees came out perfect. There seems to be some strange artifacts in the closest terrain texture?

A wonderful render, the lighting and atmosphere creates the right mood for a rainy day.

great POV and composition, the gap is just right between the trees

Great stuff Joe. Has a certain Scottish feel to it - the heavy cloud nature of the scene.

Thanx for the comments ppl :D Yea Djeser, they're rocks, but looking at it again I might remove them and redo it. Positioning things on uneven surfaces is tiresome.
