wow, the distant scenery is amazing...up close it gets a bit blurry (presumably the overlay's resolution becoming apparent...). it would be nice to tilt the camera higher and see some sky etc...

@stevage I had to set the view up in about a minute cos there was a film on TV I wanted to watch while it rendered (as it happens I could have watched 3 films!). I totally agree about the camera being slightly raised and if I get another spare 5-6 hours I will render it again ;-) Thanks all of you for commenting!!

This has to be one of my all time favourites. Beautiful image, excelent POV and a flawless surface map. The shadows add a lot of dramatism IMHO. Simple and effective. I love it!
