The DOF is fantastic, Martin! As are the mats and the concept. The temp in the 40s is doing you well, my friend!

Wonderful work again Marty. Great POV and lighting. IMHO depth of field effect is too strong, anyway it is very good work.

This looks so much like a photo to me--the textures are perfect and the depth of field looks like camera work and not cg. Even your "small pieces" are wonderful to look at!

It's funny, I have a 56k line and it takes so long to download sometimes but out of habbit I already put the ranking on Excellent. And when it finally downloaded... It IS excellent just as I suspected hehehe. Really awesome work Martin! The DOF and lighting are fabulous. It's amazing that you say you are suffering from lack of ideas and inspiration while we draw a lot of our inspiration from you (I know I do). Awesome work!

Looks realistic once again. A fine idea. Not only are you master of the DOF but LIGHT as well. It looks like a photo for real, not kidding. Keep trying, you'll come up with something, maybe seek inspiration from what you think is most beautiful in life.

You shouldn't worry for the lack of inspiration.. being someone who can achieve the best, it's obvious that sometimes you don't feel like doing it.. while many would still post, you have a quality need that calls naturally for less amount of works. But alvin is right.. how can someone fail to love what you create, if THIS is what you do create :)

Yeah! I wouldn't worry to much neither, about lack of inspiration, when you're able to make something like this! :)

Man, you're so good, it'll be scary to see what you can do when you're really inspired... Again, the detail and everything in this is just stunning. One small comment...something looks weird about the staff/spear thing and the hand holding it...doesn't look like they're quite together.

This is too cool, I love the dramatic depth of field, it really adds a mysterious atmosphere to the scene.

WOW, I have certainly missed alot of work from you Martin. You certainly have become a very talented Cinema 4D user. Actually, make that Artist. This image is very well crafted, from the Scene composition, Texture work, lighting and the use of DOF. Realistic work my friend. ---- Scott.
