Description
the benedictin monastery dates back to the early 1500's, many visitors choose this location as something of must-see, walking along alleys, bulwarks, trenches, gates, underground passages and tunels - one can not resist the feeling of historic scent of this place - a mix of fantasy and horror with a little twinge of romantic idealisation, the mood i tryed to convey with this image!

She is dwarfed by the sheer size of her surroundings, and is, at the same time, also a spiritual being. I like the feeling of choice in this. One way she walks into the light, and another, through those massive columns, and into possible darkness. Intriguing image. CC
