Here are Chuck's personal words to the community:
I am a self-taught artist, formerly working in traditional or conventional media. For the last two years I have been experimenting with CG (Computer Graphics), and trying to transition from traditional/conventional media to digital imaging. In a few words, I simply love art and always have. Many of my images are "post-worked" by hand, re-scanned and manipulated in Photoshop. On occasion, I still use pencil, Prismacolor, Silverpoint, Pen & Ink or painting to achieve the desired effect. Whether executed the "old way" or the "new way" or a combination of both, which I often fall back on.
Art is art and it is the end result that is (hopefully) appreciated.

Fine work, and what is obvious is that the pencil work was done with more skill as far as proportions are concerned than most what I have seen here. Somewhat dark they grey blending was done to perfection.

Nice pencil work and good atmosphere and the Photoshop work is to your usual high standard. Like it.

I could look these endlessly. In the vatican Museum I saw Raphael's "Shadows" and they have the grace this one has.
