Description

Well, she's finally finished. Only took a year and a half. (Not a year and a half straight, but... you get the idea. O_o) I'm still working on a shot of the interior. I went ahead and modeled all of the gauges and such and did maps for the faces in Photoshop. I guess the next thing to do is turn this baby into an M3. Wonder how long that would take... Just needs a new hood, face, and rims, right? Well, we'll see how that goes. Thanks for viewing! Arigato! ^_^

Grrrrrreat stuff. I wish I could do this type of modelling half as well as you have. How did you do the bumped glass on the front?

The bumped glass? You mean the headlamp covers? Well, that really didn't turn out the way I wanted, but basically all I did was make a grid in Photoshop with squares using different shades of grey. Then I applied the grid as a bump and refraction map to the glass. And that's it. ^_^ I'd be glad to post the grid map somewhere if you'd like. By the way, a big thanks goes out to lwanmtr for the great BMW hood emblem. Saved me the trouble of making it again... Thanks for commenting. :)
