Thanks for the feedback. I'm still getting used to the features of Victoria 3, and this image was originally intended as a test render for some experiments that I was trying out. However, I liked the way that it turned out so much that I simply had to post it.

i can only echo what the others have already said... the lighting is superb, and the portrait is fantastic.. and as Gurdraug said... "subtlety is the key" ..... a lovely image to be sure. :)
