Very Nice.... this is exceptional....

ahh, good to see the render time was worth it (5h50mn), what a relief! too bad the FUKD angel is a little overexposed
Terminal_Velocity
this has really come a long way. excellent job

Very nicely done. Looking forward to seeing what happens when it arrives. :)

you dont need the HDRI, especially not for a 5.5 hour render time when you could use an enviroment map much more efficiently and get a render time under a minute I imagine. My advice would be to start making use of edge weighting and polygon edge breaks (since you mention HDRI I have to assume you're using 8.1) Given the prominence of the engines, you could perhaps do with a very weak lense flare light at the base of the engine. I'm trying to work out if you've used a Symmetry, but it doesn't look like it. Try putting a Hypernurbs > Symmetry > polygon cage. Seems I'm critical as ever. :) hope this helps.

--> nexus: don't get me wrong, i'm not proud of a render time like this, but since i'm quite a beginner concerning lighting & rendering, i do seem to have lotta good things to learn...! it's not symmetry anymore; Additionally increasing the render time is the render tag which is on the ship, else those 'weldings' (which are pure shader) would look terrifying... i don't know if i need HDRI, i was just messing and testing araund...
plasmaworX
--> nexus: the hull texture is a simC4D shader, which cannot be baked, but is EXTREMELY handy since it's symmetrical automatically
