This is very,very good- The stars & background set the perfect mood.

It really looks great, i don't think anything is missing. However, the moon might not be a full moon, but a moon is still round and i believe some of the stars shine through the roundness of the moon and i don't believe that's possible. Besides that, it looks great, i wish i had your talent.

It took me a while to figure out how to set the moon right. I wasnt about to demean myself by looking it up in the manual :} Seriously, go to the sky lab, under cloud cover get rid of the clouds (dont do as I did, trying to see the moon with a skill full of clouds), under sun and moon, look for the azimuth and altitude numbers on the lower right corner. Set your azimuth to 180 (click on the number and enter the value) and your altitude to 10 (positive numbers for the sun.) The rest of your settings are on the bottom left corner; moon phase, moon image, softness, and how strong it shines. Once you see how Bryce controls the moon and sun, it is easy as heck to get it where you want it. Thanks for noticing that pesky star in front of the moon :}

Okay, I'm sorry for being a bug, but I have one more qusetion. How did you create the dark sky useing those settings. The settings are perfect and I get the moon and all, but the sky always turns out bright. I have the perfect sky (The PowerBall image on new page two) and when I ever I add the moon it turns the everything pink. What do I do?

Cool Picture. When I do my pictures and I get stuck on a picture, I put it on a back burner for a bit. When I come back, I have more enthusiasm for the pic.

Real nice work, what SevenOfEleven said works good for me to...or I have 4-5 complex images on the go at a time and alternate between them throughout the day to keep it fresh...

very nice image. textures are sweet. like the fog layer as well. I do wonder about the bright spot on the horizon on the left. Also with the heavy mood shadow, I would expect the starts to be just a little dimmer (washed out perhaps?)

Try adding a couple more terrains on the left side and maybe one more on the right. That might help draw the eye toward the castle a little more, and it might eliminate that bright horizon spot in the left corner. Also try moving the castle in closer, just a little bit. Something to consider, anyway. Great job, though. That riverbed is really incredible! I'd never have the patience for anything like that.

well, since you're asking for comments, #1: I think the moon may look better slightly behind the castle. It would make the castle the focul point.(and it's so good that i think it should be) #2: I'm not sure what the blue layer is that's in front of the mountain and I'm not sure if I agree with the intensity of the haze line (just seems like if it were that bright you would'nt see as many stars near it) OK I'm done!! I really like your picture and think that the talent is there.
