Hail and well met,
Welcome to my Gallery and passion; drawing and rendering in 3D.BIOI demonstrated drawing ability from an early age, and followed a career path in graphic arts, doing technical drafting illustrations as well as portraits and landscapes in oils and acrylics. However, I found these mediums time consuming, limiting and awkward.
With the advent of digital rendering in the early 1990's, I realized the ideal media had finally arrived, and I embraced the technology, rendering solely in the digital domain.
I haven't looked back since!

Awesome render, only as you probably know Drizzt didn't use these weapons. Not to be nit-picky, but as a portrait of Drizzt, you really should have made scimitars for him. Still, know praise, every other aspect of your image is great! The background is subtle and guides your eyes right to him...

I realize now I'm going to have to get off my butt and create some scimitars - especially "twinkle" for him. ;) Thanks for the comments all!

Wonderful image. My only nitpick has nothing to do with technical issues... D&D (or AD&D) drow aren't brown, they're black. (Not African, which is various shades of brown, Drow are black). Poser doesn't render true black very well though, so brown will do :)

Actually, Drizzt's skin is the most lovely shade of violet - however as some mentioned, poser has its way with color at times. I'll try a few different renders later this evening - I agree, Drow are ebon black.
