Description
Got inspiration for really wicked unusual space stuff from the good old movie Solaris, but decided for this pic to stay close to the movie since it simply looked so good with these colours.
It was waay easier than i tought to make this :P
But really, if you stick with planets and stars, u forget that space is so much more unexplained than we can ever imagine. One example is the once normal star that in january became 600 000 times brighter than our own sun and thereby the most bright sun in our galaxy, it lasted for 40 days and then it.... died?
Scientists say it is unexplained how it could have happened the way it did, and the echo of light travveling in omnidirection from the star revealed/reflected back the light of the enormous gas/dust cloud that was the result of the dyeing star. So scientists has now been able to study it closely and are making a 3d replica of it.
Imagine what we could learn from observing more of those anomalies..
