Violence? Well they ARE fighting.
Barton is our newest ferret. Unfortunately, this means he is at the bottom of the pecking order for everyone. The only ferret he can beat up, usually, is the stuffed toy called Bollox (who usually hangs around with a stuffed toy beaver called Castor).
In this photo, I do believe Barton is getting the worst of it -- again.

Cute photo. Ferrets--they look like they would be very lively pets. My granddaughter has a hedgehog which I am babysitting at present. But he sleeps all day and is awake at night, in his cage, of course.

THIS one is pretty lively. He becomes a pest. The rest have their moments. About 2 hours after wake-up they are pretty active. Then they go into cat-mode and sleep like rocks.
