I thought your other picture was sweet! Some people just have to nitpick, hey, I mean, it's your picture, from YOUR mind, I thought it was great. This looks sweet too, very dense!

Great feeling of unrestrained growth here, Thomas, just what I've seen in rainforest.

Great image Thomas, the foreground tree seems to give a good sense of depth to the image. Dave

The light is superb! So is the tree in the foreground. I've seen similar trees in Thailand. I still think it could have been nice to open the "wall of trees" in the back a bit....But excelent work anyway :)

A fine picture, once again. Wonderful vegetaions. As for the debate on the foreground tree: My first impression when viewing the image was that the tree was "standing out" in an unbalanced way - I still think so, the trunk is too smooth IMHO. But, no question, very good work.

Nice thick undergrowth. Well done. Your critics are getting tough ;)

I agree with most of the above. Overall wonderful image. The background is perfect, but my first though was exactly as bigbraader said, "too smooth" and clean. However, I love the color and contrast you've achieved. A little texture and age work on the foreground tree and this would be perfect. Again, Great as-is.

Excellent image Thomas!! I think the tree looks like a smooth bark crepe myrtle :) I've never been to the jungle, but we do have smooth bark trees here. Your Xfrog work is outstanding! 10+++

Folks, how exactly is the constructive criticism that's been posted here "nitpicking"? The feedback box requests specifically that you provide "helpful comments for improving this image", not shower the author with thoughtless praise. Please, I'm sure that Thomas would want to know what we REALLY think, not what you want him to hear.

It's a nice work. The background is excellent and mediated a deep, dark wood. But sorry, the tree in the foreground is not so good. It looks like a little bit artificially. Maybe another texture gives the tree more reality.

I can tell you this. This is tropical undergrowth,Very well done Thomas. And one more thing, there is a tree in surinam with bark like your foreground tree. Cool image.
