Welcome Friend.
My real name is Angela, my nick name, Alla I chose for myself when I was first learning to talk and couldn't pronounce Angela, it has stuck with me ever since, much to my embarrassment during my school days.
I used to spend all of my time when I wasn't riding horses, drawing them , and was proficient enough to sell some of my drawings to people at the local stables, but unfortunately, in 1994 after having Glandular fever followed by a riding accident I became very ill and unable to even get out of bed for days on end, and my co-ordination became so bad that I couldn't draw anymore ( well nothing worth it anyway).
In 1996 I bought a shiny new Pentium 75 PC, the envy of all my friends, to keep myself from going insane, after spending almost two years doing nothing but playing games and learning how to use it, I bought a computer magazine that had Bryce 2 free on the cover, that was it I was hooked!
The rest is history, I bought Poser and then joined Renderosity in 1999, during the aftermath of the split with Willow and the PFO.
Learning new things with Poser, Photoshop, Vue D'Esprit and Cinema 4D keeps my going and gives me a sense of pride in what I've achieved.
Keep an eye on my website, as I've got several new textures for the Poser 4 horse about to be packaged up and uploaded for free download, my way of saying thanks for all the help and support that I've had over these last few turbulent years.
You can find my website ladyfyre-graphics.com here.
Happy posing
x Angela

Alla - this is GORGEOUS!!! I've had Vue forever now, it seems like, and still haven't tried it! I love everything I see done with it - I really gotta' give it a spin! Just one teeny thing I noticed... the horse's head seems to blend in with the trees in the background. Maybe a little post lightening or adding some highlights to the horse's head would make him stand out a bit more. Still... I love this, regardless... ;) Can't wait to see what else you do with Vue!

Really like this. And I'm with Brandi - guess I gotta crack out Vue and give it a serious try. How did you like it for rendering Poser figures? Any trouble with texturing?..........One small thing about the pic besides the horse's head - the moon seems to far forward in the scene. It appears to be an orb hanging right over their heads, instead of back in the sky. Anyhow, thx for posting it!

Beautiful scene!

Wow, Alla, very good. I have to agree about the moon's appearance, but the lighting and shadowing, and the texturing, and the composition as a whole is very good. I like all those small flowers on the ground too-- they give this picture a really nice touch.

WOW This is stunning. :)

Very nice! It's always great to see another Vue convert. And it looks like a real Vue contender too ;). Beautiful image! Laurie

Thanks :) Would you belive that wasn't supposed to be the moon! I started off by making what was supposed to be a magical pagan grove, with and orb of power hovering over the sacred rocks - and now I look at it it does look like a poorly thought out moon LOL! I agree that the horse is blending into the vegatation too much and needs highlighting or something.

Wowsers! Very nicely done, Alla. I especially like the lighting, the way it molds the central figure. Your freehand work is outstanding and suits the image perfectly. I hope we'll be seeing a lot more Vue work from you! :)
