BIO
Since 1993 the Dutch couple, Willem and Madeleine, have been working together in different fields of the arts and chose Hyperborea, as their professional name.
Being sculptors by trade, they have created a substantial collection of stone and bronze sculptures.
They've discovered the realm of computer graphics and this resulted in a large number of 3D renderings of alien landscapes inhabited with graceful life forms.
Most recently they have been working together on various projects in which they combine their sculptures, 3D artworks and original electronic ambient music into multi-media presentations.
Living in the south of The Netherlands, they have their own gallery and sculpture garden where visitors can experience their work.

Very elegant. The title suits it well.

I like the strong elegiac mood to this one. I get a feeling that the redemption will come through an acceptance of the possibility of oblivion in spite of the egos need for the idea of imortality, or something along those lines. I feel a latent but inexorable power from the sphere that could represent nemisis. ..mmmm!....

Wow!!! It gives me a feeling of empowerment!

Wonderful! The sky is amazing. The subject a little unnerving. And featured Bryce picture. Well done!

600x400, and why not 60x40!!! this type of art requires a wall, a framework, and ambiant music (I know a good song-writer for this kind of music :) ) Perfect!

I have to disagree with Brendan. The title and the image evoke emotions of joy and peace, because that is what redemption is all about. Oblivion is the saddest, most despairing idea in the world. The figure not only exists, the figure soars!
