This is a squirrel that adopted us. He even learned to ring the doorbell to get attention.
The ducks, however, could only knock on the window, but I'm getting ahead of myself.
Throckmorton is his name, and getting fed is his game.
Actually Throck did not return this spring. The missus likes to think he headed for Florida where he is sunning his nuts on the beach. Ah, peanuts, that is.

Kudos to being able to capture a squirrel with a camera. I was trying to photograph one today, and it wasn't being terribly cooperative.

Neat capture, they're amazing little critters. I always found it easier to capture a squirrel with a dip net than a camera.

This one was terribly photogenic. He got to the point where he would recognize the sound of the door opening and come barreling over for a handout.
